Delivery time

We ship most products the same day or the next day. This usually does not apply to pre-orders or products that are custom made. In that case, it will be indicated with the product concerned. 

If you pay by direct bank transfer, we will send your order as soon as the money is in our bank account.

Pre-order: sometimes it says in the shop that a product can be ordered on a pre-order basis. For example, if lavender is sold out and the lavender from the new harvest can be ordered on a pre-order basis. In that case we will contact you about the expected delivery date. 

We usually ship with Correos, the Spanish postal service. Within Spain this usually delivers within 5 working days and in the rest of Europe it can take up to 7 working days. 

Within Spain, we can usually also ship your order with Correos Express. In that case you will usually receive the package the next day. Please contact me if you would like that. We can arrange that for you at no extra cost for orders over 20 euros.  

Shipping costs

The shipping costs for Spain (excluding the Canary Islands, Cueta and Melilla*) are €3,95. 

The shipping costs for other countries in the European Union are 8,95€. 

We ship to Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.

Shipping costs are free* from an order of €49. The shopping cart will indicate the option of free shipping once you reach this amount. If you tick this box, no shipping costs are calculated.

* Shipping costs for the Canary Islands, Cueta and Melilla are €37. Unfortunately, there is no option for free shipping here.

Satisfied with our products tell others, not satisfied tell us

Our goal is that you are satisfied with our products and service. We make our products ourselves with sustainable materials of the highest quality. And we harvest our lavender from our own lavender garden. If you are satisfied, please let others know and write a review at https://nl.trustpilot.com/evaluate/essential.blue. If you order from us, you will receive an invitation to do so. 

If you are not satisfied, please contact us. We will do our utmost to make you satisfied. 

Cancelling your order

You can cancel an order free of charge within 3 hours of purchase. Mail us at shop @ essential.blue

If you are later than 3 hours, please contact us anyway. If the shipment of the package has not been made by us yet, you can still cancel free of charge. If the parcel is already on its way, you can return it in accordance with the rules above. 


If you are not satisfied with the product delivered to you, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. You can then return the product within 10 days. As soon as we have received the product and it is undamaged, we will refund you the full amount of the product. The shipping costs will be for your account, unless the product is damaged upon delivery (see warranty and complaints)

These products cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are damaged upon delivery:

– Textile eye pillows and lavender bags (for hygienic reasons)

– Products on offer

Conditions for returns

The buyer pays the shipping costs for returning a product. If the product is not returned in its original condition, the difference in value will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.

Warranty and complaints

We do our utmost to deliver our products in excellent condition. However, something can go wrong during transport, especially with fragile lavender. In that case please contact us via shop @ essential.blue within 3 working days after delivery and send us pictures of the product as it arrived. If the quality of the product does not match the product you ordered, you will receive a full refund, including shipping costs, or we will send a new one free of charge (if in stock).  

If this does not lead to a solution you are happy with, it is possible to file a dispute via Essential.blue. In addition, it is also possible for consumers in the EU to file complaints via the ODR platform of the European Commission. http://ec.europa.eu/odr. If a complaint is not already being handled elsewhere, you can file a complaint here. 

Complaints due to normal wear and tear during use can unfortunately not be processed. 

If the product is in order, but you want to return it, please see the text above. 

Payments are made through the reputable payment provider Stripe. You can pay by:

  • credit card
  • iDeal (Netherlands)
  • or make a payment through your own bank (direct bank transfer).

In the latter case, we will send your order as soon as the money is in our bank account.

Free gift service

You can have your order sent as a gift to someone else. Please enter the address of the desired recipient.

If you wish, we will gift-wrap your order. You can also add a handwritten card with a text of your choice.

Please enter your wishes in the extra field order notes at the bottom of the checkout.

The gift wrapping, the personalised card and the sending of a gift to another address are all free of charge.
